Bang & Olufsen Rosewood Hi-Fi/Media Cabinet - Denmark, circa 1970's
Bang & Olufsen Rosewood Hi-Fi/Media Cabinet - Denmark, circa 1970's
A beautifully proportioned Danish media cabinet designed for Bang & Olufsen during the 1970s, produced to house high-end audio equipment of the period.
Constructed in richly figured rosewood veneer, the cabinet displays deep natural grain throughout, framed by subtle aluminium edging that gives the piece a refined, architectural quality typical of Scandinavian hi-fi furniture from this era.
The interior has been thoughtfully arranged for audio components and vinyl storage. Sliding shelves provide space for a turntable or amplifier, while the lower compartment includes ventilation detailing and additional storage. The open vertical section to the side offers ideal storage for records.
The cabinet sits on a minimalist brushed metal frame which gives the piece a light, floating appearance while maintaining a strong architectural presence.
Original Bang & Olufsen badge present.
A beautifully made and highly functional piece of Danish design, equally suited as a media unit, record cabinet or low sideboard.
Presented in very good vintage condition - minor markings to the legs and some light markings to the wood throughout. Comes with its original glass top.
