The cabinet features a shallow upper drawer with its original decorative brass handle, above an open display shelf and a pair of finely carved cupboard doors. The doors are particularly eye-catching, adorned with deeply carved foliate and geometric motifs that give the piece a strong Arts & Crafts / late Victorian influence. The warm oak has developed a wonderful patina over time, enhancing the depth of the carving and grain.

Inside, the cabinet offers shelved storage that would have originally housed pipes, tobacco tins, or accessories, but today lends itself just as well to use as a bedside cabinet, hallway piece, or decorative occasional cabinet. The gently shaped legs and subtle scalloped apron add elegance without overpowering the form.

Condition:
Good antique condition overall, with expected age-related wear, marks, and patina consistent with its age and use. The lower third of the back panel is missing, as shown in the photographs; this does not affect structural integrity and is not visible when placed against a wall, but is reflected in the price.
