Set of 6 Stua ‘Globus’ Chairs by Jesús Gasca (Early Production)

£650.00

A striking set of six Globus chairs designed by Jesús Gasca for Spanish design house Stua. First released in the late 1990s, the Globus chair has become a design classic — known for its sculptural silhouette, surprisingly lightweight frame, and excellent ergonomics.

This particular set is an early production run, dating from around 1998 to 2004, identified by the original Stua label on the underside — featuring the black-and-white San Sebastián branding used during that era. The seats and backs are formed from moulded cherry plywood, supported by slender black powder-coated steel frames.

The cut-out in the backrest isn’t just a visual detail — it adds comfort, and nods to Gasca’s blend of functionality and form. These stack neatly and are ideal around a dining table, in a studio, or as standout occasional chairs.

presented in good vintage condition. some cosmetic markings and wear throughout, and slight bending to some of the legs, but all structurally sound and ready to use.
