Younger "Sequence" Teak Sideboard, c.1968
Younger "Sequence" Teak Sideboard, c.1968
A stunning teak sideboard from the sought-after Sequence range by A. Younger Ltd, designed by John Herbert in the late 1960s.
This piece features a beautifully balanced layout with a double-door cupboard, fitted shelving, and a bank of four graduating drawers — the top drawer lined and divided for cutlery. Crafted in rich, golden teak with elegant sculpted handles and tapering legs, it captures the clean lines and refined simplicity that define Younger’s best work.
Compact compared to some longer mid-century models, this version offers versatility while retaining all the presence and craftsmanship collectors look for. A superb example of British mid-century design at its finest.
